Turks & Caicos Islands Sweepstakes
Official Rules
NO PURCHASE REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES
OF WINNING. OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF 50 U.S. AND D.C. (EXCLUDING RESIDENTS OF
FLORIDA) ONLY. VOID IN FLORIDA WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Eligibility:
Turks & Caicos Islands Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty
(50) United States and the District of Columbia (excluding residents of Florida)
who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Void in Florida
where prohibited. Employees, officers and representatives of Tanger Outlet
Centers and their respective subsidiaries, stores located at Tanger Outlet
Centers and the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and
household members of each are not eligible. Sweepstakes is subject to all
applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations.

4. Agreement to Official Rules:
By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant fully and unconditionally
agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which
are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.
5. Timing:
The Sweepstakes will begin May 1, 2008 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET"),
through 11:59 p.m. ET, June 15, 2008 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Administrator’s
computer is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes.
a. How to Enter the Sweepstakes: 1) Official entry forms will be available for
free at participating Tanger Outlet Center Customer Service Centers (excluding
Ft. Myers, FL). Fully completed entries can be dropped into the official entry
box located on-site during the Sweepstakes Period or 2) go directly to Tanger's
web site at www.tangeroutlet.com, locate and click on "Win a Turks & Caicos
Getaway" icon/button, provide all information requested including your name,
address, zip code, and date of birth, and click on the "Register Me To Win"
button; you will then automatically be entered in the Sweepstakes or 3) enter by
hand printing on a plain 3" x 5" card your name, address including street, city,
state and zip code, daytime and evening phone numbers, date of birth, e-mail
address optional, and mail, first class postage affixed, in a hand-addressed
envelope no larger than 4 1/8" x 9 ½" (#10 envelope) to: Turks & Caicos Getaway,
c/o Tanger Outlet Centers, 3200 Northline Avenue, Suite 360, Greensboro, North

6. Each entrant may enter the Sweepstakes only one (1) time during the
Sweepstakes Period, regardless of the method of entry. Multiple entrants are not
permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain
more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email
addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void
that entrant's plays/entries and that entrant may be disqualified. All entries
must be received during the Sweepstakes Period. Use of any automated system to
submit entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event
of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder of the email
address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account
holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access
provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for
assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address.
Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account
holder. No mechanical reproduction of entries allowed. Entries become property
of Sponsor and will not be returned.
7. ALL POTENTIAL WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR OR
ADMINISTRATOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY
PRIZE, EVEN IF THE SWEEPSTAKES SHOULD SO INDICATE, UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT’S
ELIGIBILITY AND THE POTENTIAL WINNING ENTRY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS
BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE.
8. Method of Determining Winner:
The grand prize winner will be selected in a random drawing of all entries
received from all entry methods combined by Tanger on or about June 24, 2008 at
Tanger’s Corporate office at 3200 Northline Avenue, Suite 360, Greensboro, NC
27408. Winners will be notified by telephone or by registered letter sent to the
address listed on the entry. An entrant need not be present to win. Tanger’s
decisions are final in binding in all respects.
9. Verification of Winner:
The selected winners must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official
Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Except where
prohibited, the Grand Prize and First Prize winner (and his/her parent/legal
guardian sign if winner is an eligible minor in his/her state of residence) must
sign and return, within ten (10) days of being notified, an Affidavit of
Eligibility Liability and Publicity Release in order to claim his/her prize. If
any potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the Affidavit
of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release within the required time period
(if applicable), or prize notification is returned as undeliverable potential
winner forfeits prize. An alternate winner will be selected in his/her place in
a random drawing from among all eligible entries received.
10. Prizes:
Sweepstakes: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: A trip for the winner and one guest (two
people total) to the Turks & Caicos Islands. The trip will include seven nights
accommodations in a Grace Bay Junior Suite at Grace Bay Club and round-trip
airfare for two people. Air will be to and from the gateway city within the
continental US as solely determined by sponsor and it will be the responsibility
of the winner and guest to get to and from the gateway city. ONE (1) FIRST
PRIZE: A trip for the winner and one guest (two people total) to the Turks &
Caicos Islands. The trip includes four nights accommodations in a Grace Bay
Junior Suite at the Grace Bay Club and round-trip airfare for two people.
Roundtrip air will be to and from the gateway city within the continental US as
solely determined by sponsor and it will be the responsibility of the winner and
guest to get to and from the gateway city.
The Grace Bay Club stays include accommodations in an air-conditioned suite,
daily full breakfast, welcome fruit basket, tropical cocktail greeting,
non-motorized water sports, tennis, biking, and use of fitness center. Children
under 16 years of age are not permitted at the Grace Bay Club. Approximate
Retail Value ("ARV") of Grand Prize: $5,100 and First Prize: $2,900. The Actual
ARV is dependant upon winner’s point of travel origin and airfare fluctuations
at the time of taking the trip. Any difference between actual and ARV will not
be awarded. Selection of airline and hotel, are solely determined at Sponsor’s
discretion. All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein are solely the
Grand Prize & First Prize winner’s responsibility.
All travel subject to availability and must be taken between August 1, 2008 and
August 1, 2009 or prize will be forfeited. This excludes black out dates of
December 15, 2008 to April 15, 2009. Winners and guests must have all necessary
identification and/or travel documents (e.g., a valid U.S. driver’s license,
passport) required for travel. Incidental expenses such as phone calls,
transfers to/from resort, meals not provided, and any other expenses not
mentioned here are the sole responsibility of the winner.
For all prizes: Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local
taxes and other fees associated with prize receipt and use. No substitution,
assignment or transfer of prizes permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the
right to substitute a prize with another prize of greater or equal value. Grand
Prize has no cash value.
11. Publicity:
Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winner's
consent to Sponsor’s use of winner's name, likeness, voice, opinions,
biographical information, hometown and state for promotional purposes in any
media, without further payment or consideration.
12. General Conditions:
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud,
technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control
impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole
discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserve the right to award the prizes at
random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the
impairment. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify
any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation
of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any
other Sweepstakes, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by
any person to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate
operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil law, and,
should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and
costs (including without limitation attorneys' fees) from any such person to the
fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these
Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
13. Release:
By receipt of any prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless, Tanger
Outlet Centers, its officers, directors, members, employees, and agents
(“Released Parties”), from and against any claim or cause of action arising out
of participation or attempt to participate in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use
of any prize.
14. Limitations of Liability:
Released Parties are not responsible for, and entrants release and hold the
Released Parties harmless for: (i) technical failures of any kind, including but
not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or
software; (ii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or
telephone or Internet service; (iii) unauthorized human intervention in any part
of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (iv) electronic or human error which
may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries;
or (v) any injury or damage to persons or property, including but not limited to
entrant's computer, hardware or software, which injury or damage may be caused,
directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the
Sweepstakes.
15. Disputes:
Entrant agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action
arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prizes awarded, shall
be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. Any and
all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs
incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no
event attorneys' fees; and (iii) under no circumstances will entrant be
permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim
punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than
for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages
multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE
LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,
SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
16. Entrant's Personal Information:
Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy
Policies.
17. Winners List:
For the name of the winners, available after August 1, 2008 send a separate
stamped, self-addressed #10 envelope before December 31, 2008 to: Turks & Caicos
Sweepstakes, c/o Tanger Outlet Centers, 3200 Northline Avenue, Suite 360,
Greensboro, North Carolina 27408.
